Our Story
While Insightful Summit Business Advisors is a new company, its roots were established a long time ago. It is the culmination of a consulting journey that began in 2005 when a large children's apparel retailer refused to award a multi-million dollar project to a small technology company unless Michael Pagnotta, our Principal Consultant, oversaw and managed the entire initiative. Back then Michael started up Pagnotta Enterprises, Inc., a technology-focused business consultancy. For five years, Michael helped a number of customers transform their operations with technology integrations. Following that, Michael spent the next 13 years as an internal consultant to Fortune 500 companies assisting them with their own customer engagement strategies. Michael then ventured out again into consulting, becoming a Fractional CTO for an education and skills provider. He stood up a new consultancy, Next Phase of Life, LLC, and just completed a rebranding effort to Insightful Summit Business Advisors to better convey his mission to help struggling businesses with their operational challenges that suppress profits and stifle growth.
